10

On a sunny, warm April day 10 years ago, I walked down the aisle and got my MRS. degree.
One of the best decisions I ever made. Thankful there have been more ups than downs, thankful for his relationship with Christ, hard work, wisdom, wit, faithfulness, math skills, tolerance of my fabric messes and love.

Here's to many more B., I love you!

P.S. I made my dress and veil, and my sisters junior bridesmaid dresses. And 6 members of the wedding party are my siblings : )

  1. wow. so beautiful.

Only you would be so creative, talented and motivated to make your own wedding dress and others' dresses too right. I can't believe how cool you are. Also- I love the bridesmaids dresses, very tasteful elegant. Not at all cheesy.

What a beautiful wedding, what a beautiful marriage. May the Lord grant you many, many more delightful years.

  4. Congratulations on your first decade! :) I really like the canopy you have - inspired by Jewish weddings maybe?

May your second decade bring even more joy than the first! (And more children??) ;-)

    1. Yes it was Davene! And thank-you! As far as more children, we'll have to wait and see what the Lord has in store. None on the way at the moment though : )

Just a quick question- is there any way I can subscribe or follow here on your new blog? ( there possibly is and I've just missed it in my tired state tonight).
    Have a wonderful day
    Blessings

    2. I tried to add a followers button, but first it was telling me that it was a broken gadget, but then another click of the mouse told me it worked, so honestly, I'm not sure. With my computer skills, it's rather amazing I figured out how to set up a blog at all! Sorry I'm not more help!

  8. Hey Missus.

I've been missing you. I hope you are doing well and just in the thick of happy, bustling spring. But I can't help but feel like you might be sad for some reason? I can't shake the feeling. So I've been praying for you. And if I am wrong- then the Lord will take those prayers and hear them on your behalf for different needs I hope.

Just wanted to let you know I am thinking about you. Lots of love~

    1. You can read me like a book : ) I *was* ( a teething Sprout and lack of sleep can be thanked for much of that) and thank-you for your prayers. I feel like I've turned a corner, had some (good) revelations and am a lot happier than I have been in a long time! (I wonder if I had some post baby depression from Sprout? Never bad enough to be called such, but definitely something.) Much love to you too, and someday, I'll finish the letter I started: ) P.S. and yes it's been busy- but my basement is CLEAN! A 10 year mess cleaned up in about 4 days- woo-hoo!
